We are an established community service for anyone with learning disabilities. We let you decide how you think the project should be run and what best suits your individual needs.

There is a range of opportunities available to those on the project which is supported by our staff and trained volunteers. Opportunities include:
  • Achieve greater independence for yourself
  • Make friends
  • Get work experience that suits your needs
  • Help to get active within the community
  • Get qualifications that suit your needs
  • Receive holiday breaks
How Can I Get On This Project?
You must be in Community Day Care, have a learning disability and be living in North Durham or Chester-le-Street.

Actively on Peer Friendship and between 11-16 years old also identified from mainstream and special needs schools.

Referrals from care managers also accepted.
