Generation Exchange
This project aims to bring people together in a purposeful way with mutually beneficial activities which promote a greater understanding and respect between generations and contributes to building more cohesive communities. Some local authorities have already recognised the benefits that intergenerational activity can have, and the enthusiasm and energy of the many voluntary organisations already involved in intergenerational projects has helped to reduce the gap in understanding between the young and old.
